A call to tweens and teens: The Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center of Florida is collaborating with SKAI on an interactive class for tweens and teens (age 11 -18). Be a part of a FUN teen writing workshop LEAD by your peers—teens! Experience great exhibits like the Anne Frank virtual reality tour before or after class and showcase your power of teenage activism!!! Come join SKAI and carry out this legacy of courageous teen writing and leadership!
Empower yourself with the tools on how to write creatively. This is the foundation for making your voice heard on the causes most important to you! The courage to speak up starts with our ability to use words knowledgeably and powerfully.
The exhibition will inspire you on the power of words; the teen-to-teen workshop will equip you with how to write more powerfully and persuasively. Leave the Holocaust Center prepared to affect change on causes that touch your heart!

History: Holocaust Memorial Center of FloridaOur Center is one of the oldest facilities of its kind in the nation. It houses permanent and temporary exhibit space and archives. It is a nonprofit organization open to the public free of charge.
Our focus is on the social, historical, moral, ethical, and economic implications of the Holocaust for today. Currently, the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center offers a variety of programs to sensitize the public to issues of tolerance, diversity, and respect for cultural differences. Its leadership and supporters firmly believe that preserving the past helps us protect the future and that a moral and just community grows from understanding the watershed events of human history. |
